I've tested around and I can undervolt with throttlestop, overclock gpu with msi afterburner, and do everything normally and everything works how it SHOULD. It causes weird black boxes to appear in steam chat, it causes loading a youtube video to glitch out and toss a playback error, it causes movies and tv to literally completely softlock the computer when trying to fullscreen the player, it causes games to skip frames and have insanely bad lag and input lag, Sometimes causes desktop window manager to randomly use 100% iGPU, and probably more but I stopped messing with it once the black boxes and stuff started scaring me half to death thinking my GPU was dead or that my undervolt was unstable. The issue comes after I stop playing roblox AND close the unlocker software. Let me know if there are any issues or if you have suggestions.I have started using roblox fps unlocker to make use of my 144hz screen, and it works great. I hope people are happy with my project Rolo, it was only put togeather in a couple of hours but all should be working. Select the desired FPS limit and hit Initialise.
Once installed open Rolo from the start menu. The reason I didn’t just create a pull request for Axstin’s FPS Unlocker is beacause we are using completly different laguages, I’m using C# Axtin is using C++ and Axstin’s approach is much more complex than mine. I didn't like how I had to either start Roblox FPS Unlocker on startup and have it open for 2 seconds or even worse only opening it when I play Roblox. However when a programmer sees something that bothers them they just fix it, even the smallest of things 😏. Why a new FPS unlocker? Axstin's Roblox FPS Unlocker is an amazing tool and I have been very grateful for it.
Rolo can set custom limits and remove limits (999FPS). Rolo will only have to be reinitialised if Roblox Player is updated. Rolo is a Roblox FPS Unolocker that only has to be run once for each version of the Roblox Player.
